Spend five days reveling in the beauty and history of Iceland. The adventure begins in the stunning Vatnsdalur valley, where you will meet the majestic Icelandic horse. This famous mount is perfect for the journey ahead as its gait, the tölt, is ideally suited for the trails on which you will ride. As you travel from valley to plain, you will pass pristine nature, remarkable black sand dunes, and a variety of unique birds and seals.

The history of Iceland will come alive as you visit Borgarvirki, an impressive natural fortress made out of basalt strata that dates back to the 13th century, and listen as your guide tells you the stories of the sagas borne from the land that surrounds you. The adventure ends in the same spectacular way it began as you travel back to Reykjavik, driving between two stunning glaciers. On the way back, be sure to take time to admire the mighty waterfall at Gullfoss, and soak in the hot springs of Hveravellir. It is an adventure you will not soon forget.
